Sally's Story

Dr Sally Vanson is a creative writer, a professional coach and coach supervisor and business psychologist. She is very lucky to divide her time, between the North Norfolk Coast  and  the Pyrenees Mountains in South West France. She lives with her husband and three dogs.

Sally enjoys working with a variety of people in differing environments and contexts. Helping human beings to find purpose, harmony and balance across the whole of their lives is a driving passion for her and hence she finds herself with an eclectic mix of offerings.

In order to balance her own head, heart and gut,  Sally works creatively, photographing equestrian and street scenes and sometimes landscapes (when she can juggle her camera lenses). She is also enjoying writing short stories, supported by a writing group near her spiritual home in Gascony as well as attending courses at the National Writers Centre in Norwich. In April 2019 she won a flash fiction competition and she also writes on a regular basis for the Holt Journal

Having held senior corporate roles, travelled the world and worked on most continents Sally still does some part time work, helping people to get the best out of their work and/or private lives. This can be by Skype conversations, face to face Creative and Coastal coaching, personal breakthrough sessions and by supervising professional coaches who coach others. She has also developed and directs an MA in Neuro Coaching.

Learning and education are  important to Sally.  Her qualifications culminated in a Doctorate where her thesis explored the sadly dysfunctional identities of senior professionals, who rarely live happy and balanced lives and then do not know how to enjoy their down time or even retirement.  Sally is a global assessor for ICF Coach Accreditation and is a Trustee for the Norfolk Coast Riding for the Disabled Group.
